Context: amidst the drama of some recent stolen work of fiction I wasn't aware of, saying the author plagiarized an AU of someone on twitter (idk which fandom) and some words were mistranslated here & there, people were calling fanfictions "alternate universes" and OP corrected it, cuz not every FF is an AU & not every AU is a FF. The person retweeting with phonetic representations of the abbreviations stole the show.
